Advanced Computer Visualization for Physics Education

  • Length scales that cannot be accessed with the naked eye. Atoms and molecules - too small. Astrophysical scales - too large.
  • Computer visualizations - access across all length scales.
  • Calculations can require a large amount of computer resources.
  • Maximise the learning experience; minimize the technical effort.
  • Interactivity, three dimensional images (stereo where possible).
  • Final visualizations are website based and accessible also on cellphones. Analglyphic stereo option or Oculus viewers.
  • Talk can be followed at http://phony1.technion.ac.il/~phr76ja/aps/title.html.
