  • SECOND PART and PROJECTS

  • Now - reality. Last 4 years of class and some group projects shown at left.
  • After week 8 students have enough of a basis to start their projects. They hand in a proposal on week 10 and after approval start working.
  • I insist that my own students and students doing molecular dynamics use AViz and c/FORTRAN for projects. I expect them to use our parallel cluster,TAMNUN when appropriate.
  • Science education students are allowed to use windows software, java, javascript, hebrew (or arabic) for projects.
  • Undergraduates or students from experimental groups are allowed MATLAB or MATHEMATICA after dire warnings about visualization quality and LINUX compatibility.
  • When I get lucky I find students who know WebGL, OpenGL or php.
  • They all have to prepare websites with the projects, and downloadable code and instructions.
