In today's class I will discuss the interaction between my teaching and my research.
I will present several sample research projects from graduate students and Computational Physics course students that led to educational material.
Today's examples are web-based and require only a browser to implement.
In the next class I will start with the aims and implementation of the mostly fixed first half of my Computational Physics class.
I will also present the considerations used to decide on the final topics, which I adapt to the interests of that year's students.
In the final class I will describe the requirements for the websites presenting the project codes. l will then present hands-on examples; some web and some in MATLAB. I will build a list of these as I go thru the material, and use a symbol to indicate them.
